风动式取样器是从风动输送机的物料流中提取样品的取样器。为确保具有足够的代表性，待取样的产品流在传送带宽度方面必须具有同质性。通过物料流中突出且具有开口的样品收集管进行取样。通常，这些开口朝输送方向转动，并紧靠密封垫圈密闭。取样时，带有开口的样品收集管与输送方向相反，以便取样物料流入。由此流入的样品依靠样品收集管通过气动输送系统向下排出。
